Water & Waste Water
The District owns and operates an independent water treatment and distribution system that delivers potable water to each property within the community.  Usage for  each property is metered and billed on a quarterly basis.  To promote water conservation, users charged for water on billed on a tiered rate structure where as more water is consumed the per 1,000 gallon rates increase.  One-time tap and meter fees are charged at the commencement of construction of the home.
The District is also responsible for operating a waste-water treatment facility that servers the cabins and cottage lots (not ranch or lake lots) as well as certain club facilities.  Users connected to the system are billed a fixed fee on a quarterly basis which is intended to cover the cost of operating the system.
